A popular activist, Aisha Yesufu, has reacted to Jack Dorsey resigning as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Twitter, a micro-blogging platform.
Yesufu was one of the activist who supported the October 20, 2020 #EndSARS Protest against police brutality.
Recall that Dorsey had on Monday, November 29, 2021, announced his resignation as CEO, Twitter and has been replaced by the Company’s Chief Technical Officer, Parag Agrawal.
However, Dorsey would remain on the company Board until the stockholder meeting in 2022.
According to Yesufu, the federal government of Nigeria, may say that Dorse’s resignation forms part of the condition the government laid out for it to lift the ban it placed on the micro-blogging platform.
Aisha tweeted;
“I wouldn’t be surprised to hear Lai Mohammed claim they forced Jack to resign. They might even say it was part of the agreement for them to unban twitter in Nigeria”.
