ABIA: APGA Bleeds In Isialangwa,as Above 500 members decamp to PDP |PHOTOS

About 500 members of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) from Isialangwa South, North and Osisioma officially decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today in a colorful ceremony hosted by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr A.C.B Agbazuere in Isialangwa South.

 

The Chief of Staff who welcomed the numerous guest to the ceremony, enumerated some of the achievements of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, while stressing the need for all to join hands together so that PDP can achieve success both in the state and at the national level come 2023.

While welcoming the decampees, Abia State PDP Chairman, Chief Asiforo Okere commended them for taking the bold step to return back to the party also assured them that the umbrella is large enough to accommodate everybody.

 

Contributing, the Special Adviser to the Governor on General Duties, Elder Erondu Uchenna Erondu, the Isialangwa South PDP L.G.A Chairman, Sir Edwin Ihejirika disclosed that the PDP has remained peaceful without rancour and acrimony also expressed hope that their defection to the PDP will take the party to an enviable height.

Responding, some of the decampees including the Isialangwa South L.G.A APGA Chairman, Mr Fineface Oguobi, his Isialangwa North counterpart, Mr Martins Onwuka, the Osisioma Ngwa L.G.A AGPA chairman, Mr Samuel Nkoro among others while denouncing their APGA memberships said their decision to join the PDP is based on the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s developmental and infrastructural strides across the state, pledged their total support to the party.
