Anglican Synod: Abia Speaker Urge The Church To Continue To Stand On The Path Of Truth

The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji attended the ongoing Second Session, Tenth Synod of the Anglican Church, Diocese of Umuahia, holding at St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Nsukwe/Amibo Ubakala North Archdeaconry.

Speaking at the event, the Speaker congratulated the entire clergy and members of the Anglican Church, Diocese of Umuahia on the special occasion of their Synod.

He urged the Church to continue to stand on the path of truth at all times and live out the virtues of Christ.

 

While wishing them a happy and successful deliberation, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji charged them to pray fervently for the nation and her leaders, expressing hope that the Synod will drastically improve the Christian life of the members.

 

Finally, the Speaker pledged to handsomely support the reconstruction, reinforcement and remodeling of the collapsed Cathedral’s building at Saint Stephen’s Church, Umuahia.
