ABIA: I Will Reveal Everything That Transpired Between 2013 to 2023 In My Memoir With Evidence – Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji | WATCH VIDEO

 

 

In what seems like the final interaction with the media as Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has revealed that he is writing a memoir where he will detail all that transpired between 2013 when he actively started participating in Abia politics to 2023 when his tenure as the speaker ended.

 

Chinedum Orji who is popularly called Ikuku, is believed to have played a prominent role in the emergency of the former governor of Abia State Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu. Ikuku equally was involved in the governance of the state from 2015 when he emerged as member representing Umuahia Central in the Abia State House of Assembly and served as the majority leader from 2015 – 2019, he was reelected and became the Speaker from 2019 to 2023.

While speaking to media professionals in his country home in Umuahia, he made it clear that his memoir will dissect everything that took place between 2013 and 2023.

“I am currently writing my experiences with former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, I will catalog them into a memoir and release to the public with documentary evidence”

“I will say it all in my book, how I met people, where I met them and everything I will say will be backed up with evidence, I have finished chapter one already”

 

“After writing the book, I will launch it. If the content does not make you happy, you can go to court” he stated.

 

On the issue of why the former deputy speaker Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu was not returned as deputy speaker after the truce in the house, Ikuku posited that he made it clear to the former governor that he was not going to preside over the house with the former deputy speaker to betrayed him.

He went further to state that the former governor agreed with him, but advised that the deputy speaker’s backup vehicle be left for him, but that the former deputy speaker should vacant the deputy speakers’ quarters.

 

“I can not preside with someone that stabbed me at the back, if I allow him come close to me this time around, he may now use two knives to strike”
