Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearer to contest the Abia North Senatorial seat has shown full commitment and met the requirements to participate in the coming Abia State Election Debate scheduled to kick off January 23, 2023 daring other senatorial candidates including Senator Orji Uzor Kalu to participate in the biggest debate in Abia State.

The former Leader of ECOWAS Parliament represented Abia North in the eighth Senate, he is currently in the race in anticipation to unseat Senator Orji Uzor Kalu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) from the red chambers.

The debate is organized by the Abia State Election Debate Group (ASEDT).

The debate will engage the Governorship candidates, Deputy Governorship, Senatorial and House of Representatives Candidates across Abia State.

The Debate will be aired across partnering radio stations, streamed on online Tv channels from January 23, 2023.
