A member of the New Era Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), identified as Tope Lucky, has allegedly stabbed his colleague to death in the Epe area of Lagos state.
According to report, Lucky in the company of some other members trailed the deceased, one Wasiu Ogunnaike to a location in Epe where they engaged in an argument.
The ensued argument which reportedly centred on Ogunnaike’s alleged membership with the Eiye Confraternity, led to Lucky stabbing the 42 year old to death with a knife.
On discovery of Ogunnaike’s involvement with a cult group, he was said to have been sacked from the OPC and was asked to return the OPC properties in his possession.
The deceased’s refusal to return the items in his possession reportedly led to the confrontation by some of the members.
Meanwhile, three suspects; Badejo Obafemi, Yusuf Ramon and Tunde Agbadanla have being arrested by the police while the key suspect, Lucky has gone into hiding.
