The General Overseer of Abel Damina Ministry and Power City International, Pastor Abel Damina has said that Hallelujah is not a Heavenly language.
The man of God made this known in his teaching tagged; “ who is God?
According to Damina, Hallelujah is a human language as the bible was written by mortal men using the then languages of civilization.
He charged his members to desist from chanting Hallelujah, rather speak in tongue if they want to speak a heavenly language.
“In the days of Moses, people worship many things called god. That’s why when you read the Bible, you will come across ‘Lord God’. Lord can be anything, a judge can be Lord. Remember that the Bible was written within human culture. Its not an abstract book that fell from the sky. A printer must produce it.
It was written based on what happened in time in the interaction between God and man, men and men, circumstances, events and because it was written in human language, the bible was not written in human language, the language of civilization back then; Greek, Hebrew and others.”
“Since the Bible was written in human language, like the way people sing in church, “Hallelujah is our heavenly language’, stop that. Don’t let illiteracy undress you in public. How can Hallelujah be heavenly language, what makes it heavenly in the first place? Hallelujah is human language. If you want the heavenly language, speak in tongues. Therefore, speaking in tongue is heavenly language”.
