NLC, TUC Issues Strike Notice, Makes Four Demands From FG | READ DETAILS

Following the battering of the national president of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, the organised Labour has issued a strike notice to the Federal Government.

Addressing the media on Friday, the NLC and its counterpart, Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) said it will embark on strike on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 if the Federal Government fails to meet it’s six demands which includes the release of Ajaero, removal of the Commissioner of Police, Imo State and Area Commander, among other officials, for their alleged complicity in the brutalisation and humiliation of Comrade Ajaero and other workers.
