The Ministry of Health in Kano said the state now has 427 confirmed Coronavirus cases. It reached the new level after the NCDC announced 30 new infections early today.

Out of the 427 infections, 408 are still active cases. There have been six recoveries and 13 deaths.

The state now has two testing centres at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital and Bayero University, Kano.

Kano remains second to Lagos in Nigeria’s grim statistics for the virus. Lagos has 1,308 cases, with 358 discharged and 30 deaths.
