Ikpeazu, PDP In TR-0UBLE, As INEC Reveals That 3 Man Delegate Election Did Not Hold In Abia State |SEE DOC

The battle of whether Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) three delegate election held in Abia State or not has been laid to rest by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

 

Recall that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State was seen in a viral video where he stated that the three-man delegate election in Abia State held successful and party faithful’s have been elected.

 

But in letter that was made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER from our sources, INEC clearly stated that they were not aware of any rescheduled date of the said election.

Based on the letter which is a reply to a letter from the PDP, INEC revealed that they did not receive any letter as regards the rescheduled date of 11th May 2022, which means INEC did not observe the primary as required by law.

 

Sources within the Ikpeazu’s kitchen cabinet revealed to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER that this stand of INEC has put a new confusion in their plan to deliver Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s favoured aspirant rumoured to be Professor Uche Ikonne.

“The pressure is too much now on us, confusion has taken over our camp, all our moves to make sure the three-man delegate list is accepted completely failed”

“INEC has refused all entreaties and the party leadership in Abuja are insisting that things must be done properly because they don’t want any legal tussle that will make them lose the state to another party through the court”

 

“The newly signed electoral act has tightened everywhere, at the moment what we are left with are the statutory delegates and based on our findings we can’t trust them at all” he concluded.

Another source inside Professor Uche Ikonne’s camp who wants to maintain anonymity sounded displeased with the development. He revealed that they were assured that everything will be fine, but that the development now shows that the leadership of the party in the state don’t have the full grasp of the power play.

In his words, he said “it seems the leadership of the state and the party don’t have capacity to dislodge those fighting against the emergence of Ikonne through the PDP primary”
