Ex- Golden Eaglets Player, Akinkunmi Amoo Jailed In Denmark | READ WHY

21-year-old former Golden Eaglets forward, Akinkunmi Amoo, has been sentenced to 1 year in prison in Denmark over s-exual assault.

Recall that Amoo was on September 10, 2022 arrested and detained over alleged se-xual assault of three women. He was however released on bail on October 7, shortly after Danish authorities filed criminal charges against him.

The Copenhagen striker was said to have committed the crime between April and July, 2022.

On Friday, June 23, 2023, Amoo who has sometime been described as “Nigerian Messi” was found guilty of all charges and sentenced by a Danish court.

Amoo will, however, appeal the court decision according to report.
