OSSAH ROAD PROJECT: 95% Of Us Have Been Compensated – Property Owners Lauds Gov. Otti

Owners of marked properties along the Okpara Square – Ossah road, have lauded the executive governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti for keeping to his word to pay them compensation, noting that 95% of them have been compensated.

Speaking on Thursday on behalf of the beneficiaries, Hon. Ugochukwu Emezue, a former Commissioner for Documentation in the state, said only 10% of the affected persons are yet to get compensated.

He lauded governor Otti for paying compensations as promised, restating that the people of Ossah are in full support of the expansion of the road project.

ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER (AFNEWS), had reported that the Accountant General of the state, Njum Onyemenam, on September 28, said that owners of affected properties who provided their correct account details have received compensation, adding that payment will continue until everyone submits the right details and gets paid.
