ABIA: You Must Hold Your Leaders Accountable – Comrade Ishionwu Charges Youths

Comrade Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu, a youth advocate, has tasked Youths of Ikwuano, Abia State and  Nigeria in general to ensure that their leaders are held accountable in every capacity they represent.

Ishionwu who stated after receiving an award for his commitment towards human development, campaign for good governance and his leadership style at Ibere in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, advised youths against being docile, but urged them to be committed towards making sure that leaders are doing the right thing all the time.

Ishionwu who is a progressive youth movement pioneer and founder; For Us By Us Movement (FUBU) and A Better Abia For Us (ABAFU) groups, while addressing the youths, charged them to be outspoken and not be afraid to speak truth to power where necessary.

“As youths, we should not be afraid to speak. Remember to hold your leaders accountable ” he charged.
