ABIA: Students Express Gratitude As Ishionwu Purchase JAMB Forms For Ikwuano Indigenes
Thirty indigent students of Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, will sit for the 2024 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), free of charge, as a leading progressive youth movement pioneer, Comrade Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu has purchased their forms.
This is in line with his initiative; “Education is key” aimed at helping students who desires to further their education for a better future.
Speaking on the philanthropic gesture, Ishionwu who is the founder, For Us By Us Movement (FUBU) and A Better Abia For Us (ABAFU) groups, said;
“Over the years, our commitment to action has spoken louder. It’s more than a promise; it’s a heartfelt commitment to our people’s dreams. Together, let’s turn aspirations into achievements”.
Some of the beneficiaries like Cokey Goodluck Ihuoma, expressed gratitude to Ishionwu and prayed that he will be remembered for good and will never lack.
“I am very grateful to Chika Ishionwu for remembering the children of Ikwuano and making us to write JAMB for free” she said.
