Mike Ozewkhome who is the lead Counsel of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to an alleged fresh seven-count amended charged filed against Kanu by the Federal Government.       

In a statement that was issued by one of the lawyers, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyers faulted the alleged new charges, saying that it has the same number of charges that were struck out by the Court of Appeal, Abuja, Division, and still remains so as no superior court has set it aside.

This is as government had filed an appeal challenging the decision of the Appeal Court which discharged all its remaining charges against Kanu in the Supreme Court with a date for hearing, yet to be fixed.
