Appreciating the governor, the Forum in a letter co-signed by Engineer Chief Charles Omesie Ojukwu
(Coordinator, Isuikwuato Stakeholders Forum); Chief Innocent Madubuko (Public Relations Officer); Chief Barrister chukwuemeka Njionye Oluoha (Secretary), noted that the governor’s inspection shows that he was listening to Abians even before his swearing in to office.

The Forum expressed optimism that governor Alex Otti will recall contractors to site for the completion of the project which will give the people of Isuikwuato access to efficient health care.

The appreciation letter read;

The Isuikwuato Stakeholders Forum notes with appreciation the visit of you high
powered team of health sector leaders of the Abia State Ministry of Health, led by
the Special Adviser on Health, Dr Ngozi Okoronkwo to Isuikwuato General hospital
on Thursday June 1st 2023. They came to inspect the Referral and Diagnostic Centre
which would have been commissioned in an uncompleted state by the preceding
administration but for the intervention of Isuikwuato Stakeholders Forum.

We are buoyed by this visit because it indicates that even before you were sworn in
as Governor, you were listening to Abians. This prompt fact finding visit promises
hope for all Abians on good things to come.

We have no doubt that your Excellency’s team must have found justifiable reasons
to recall the contractor to site to complete the project to specifications. We also
believe that the evident gaps in the hospital which have contributed to the
suboptimal utility and healthcare effectiveness of the hospital to the people of
Isuikwuato will be attended to.

Once again, Thank you, Your Excellency. Isuikwuato is poised to work with your
government.
