The Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has advised a newly wedded couple to build their home on the foundation of respect, trust and humility.
Rt. Hon. Orji gave this admonition at the wedding reception of Mr. & Mrs. Cokey Nwachukwu, at Jubilee Hall, Mater Dei Cathedral, Umuahia, the state capital.
Hon. Cokey Nwachukwu is the Deputy Chairman of Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State.
The speaker said he was particularly elated because the bride is the daughter of his closest uncle and urged them to love and cherish each other.
He further advised the couple to maintain good communication at all times and ensure they grow together in peace and happiness.
Orji prayed God to make the marriage blissful, fruitful, and peaceful.
The marriage solemnization was earlier held at Master’s Vessel Church, 73, Azikiwe Road, Umuahia.
