The honorable member representing the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the House of Representative, Honorable Sam Onuigbo has given account of his stewardship since his journey  to the National Assembly in 2015.

The Honorable who is serving his second term in the green chamber in an exclusive interview with AF NEWS during a recent inspection of some ongoing projects he attracted to his constituency ,highlighted some of the projects he has been able to attract to his constituency ,some of which has been completed while others are ongoing.

Some of the projects the honorable stated that he attracted that has been completed includes;Rehabilitation of the failed sections of the Umuahia-Ikwuano-Ikot Ekpene Federal Road, Water project at Obunta Oboro- Ikwuano LGA, Water project at Inyila Ibere – Ikwuano LGA, Erosion Control work at Amankwo Ezeleke, Umuopara in Umuahia South LGA, Erosion Control work at Okwe-Obuohia road.

Others are training of 1,500 women and youths from Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency on how to start and manage small businesses, Construction of a block of two classrooms at Adanma Girls Secondary School, Afugiri in Umuahia North LGA,Construction of a block of two classrooms at Umutowe Central School, Olokoro in Umuahia South LGA,Construction of a block of classrooms at Nsirimo, Ubakala in Umuahia South LGA,Renovation of the Obuohia Obi-Ibere Cottage Hospital,Ahiaeke Oloko Townhall, Construction of a block of three classrooms at Umuajata Olokoro, Obuohia Obi-Ibere electricity project,Installation of 300KVA transformers at Umuagungolori, Ndoro Oboro, Agbama Olokoro,Amaeke Junction,Isi Court,Maryrose Umudike,Umuezeala, Usaka Ukwu and the Training and empowerment of 100 smallholder poultry farmers with galvanized cages, point-of-lay birds, bags of feed, and money etc.

Also during the interview with AF NEWS,  Honorable Onuigbo revealed that apart from the projects that has been completed, he has other projects he attracted that are still ongoing, this includes;  Total reconstruction of the Umuahia-Ikwuano-Ikot Ekpene Federal Road,Construction of a Nine-unit Skills Acquisition Center, Apumiri Ubakala Erosion Control and construction of rural road in Umuecheokwu, Umuovo, Old Umuahia, Umuahia South LGA,Construction of Ehie bridge in Obuohia Obi-Ibere and Construction and furnishing of Oloko Healthcare.
