IKPEAZU TO ROLL OUT 20 PATROL TRUCKS, MAINTAINS THAT SECURITY OF LIVES, PROPERTY HIS TOP AGENDA

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has reassured the people of Abia State that his administration will vigorously pursue policies that will enhance the security of the lives and property of the people of the State.

The Governor said this earlier today at the St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Ogbor Hill Parish Aba at a service to mark this year’s Fathers’ Day.

He stated that by next week, 20 Security Patrol Vehicles complete with state of the art communication gadgets will be handed over to the Police and the Army to enhance their intelligence gathering and combat readiness.

The Governor made it clear that development can only come when there is peace and security, thanked the people of Abia State for steadfastness and especially the church for their constant intercessions on behalf of our people. He assured that he will always be guided by the fear of God in all of his actions as Governor and congratulated all Christian men on their day.

“As a man, husband and father, Ikpeazu continued, today’s celebration means a lot to me as I have resolved to be a better man and improve on those areas that need improvement, challenging all Christian men to renew their faith in God.

Prayers were said for the Governor and the state while songs of praises rent the air. The Church also presented a gift to the Governor.

Minister in Charge of the Parish, The Rt. Rev. Akim Erim Mbeh presided over the service while a powerful sermon titled MEN, BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS was delivered by The Rev. Uguru Madukwe.
