Abia SSG, Chris Ezem Reveals One Of The Cause Of Insecurity In Nigeria
Secretary to the Abia state government, Barrister Chris Ezem, has blamed the rising insecurity in the country on neglect of the education sector by relevant authorities.
“One of the greatest challenges why we are faced with serious insecurity is because most of our people have lost it in education.
“If you have education; you have your certificates, you have the the first line of survival but when you don’t have it, you don’t have something to lean on”.
Ezem adduced this on Friday, while representing governor Okezie Ikpeazu at the flag off of ENUDA High School renovation project in Abiriba, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.
He regretted that internet fraud and kidnapping have seemingly become an access to success in parts of the country.
Chris Ezem charged students of Enuda High School to shun cultism, other vices, and focus on their academics, noting that the state has maintained the first position in WAEC for the past 4 years.
