….Alex Otti remains the viable option

In this hot interview with Chief Inem Nwaka, Director of Contact and Mobilization Alex Otti Campaign Organization, he clarified the issue of a rumoured alliance meeting between Alex Otti of APGA and Uche Ogah of APC. He went further to throw some punches at the APC gubernatorial candidate and likewise explained why Alex Otti is the best for Abia State now. READ FULL INTERVIEW;

1. Their was a rumour that Ogah and Otti had a meeting and Ogah requested that Otti step down for him..you are one of the people that are very close to Dr. Alex Otti, how true is the rumour?

Thank God you called it a rumour. There is no iota of truth in it and remains the figment of imagination of enemies of progress. When a story that does not follow normal and natural sequence, you must know that a sinister and fishy motive is behind it. For instance, when Bar Emeka Uwakolam of Accord Party announced his partnership and decision to support and vote for Dr Alex Otti’s candidature, he announced it himself in a widely publicised press conference. Dr Alex Otti just released a live broadcast to state the records straight. The truth is that, there was no such meeting, not to talk of discussions along that line. I am aware of the concerns of Abians desirous of a united opposition to remove the PDP Led government. PDP like in the days of Chikwe Udensi irritation promotes stories that is aimed at disorganising the viable opposition. Like they failed in previous attempts, they have once again failed.

2. Do you think Otti has a chance in this election if their is no alliances since Ogah is from Abia North which is one of strongest block for Otti?

Dr Otti’s chances are brighter than it was in 2015, especially given the glaring failure of the Ikpeazu’s government in all fronts, from salary/pensions, to infrastructures, health/social amenities, education and poor road network. Don’t forget that in 2015, Ogah campaigned for PDP and they lost in Abia north. Despite his joining APC, their fortunes will not change significantly, given the menace of the Fulani herdsmen on farmlands in Abia north, who seems to be enjoying the support and protection of the APC government. Besides, if we have come to terms with the failure of PDP for the past 20 years, which is largely due to influence of Godfatherism, devilish oath taking, personalization and family negative influence, Uche Ogah can never in all sincerity be the natural and genuine option of the people. Abia state has more than enough debt to grabble with, and will not want to add that of Ogah’s empire. Alex Otti remains the viable option and choice given his sound economic standing devoid of any extraneous baggage, that will form the basis of excuses for failure and non performance.

3. People have complained about 2015 election saying Otti could not protest their vote, what is the chances now in 2019?

The complain of not protecting vote in 2015 is not correct. Votes were adequately protected in 2015, and will be more than protected in 2019. The fact remains that what they stole in 2015 was not votes, as they could not achieve much at the polling units, but stole result sheets from Obingwa, Osisiooma, Isialangwa north, and went and forged figures at the Government house, before T A Orji in a criminal commando fashion forced the REC and Returning officer to accept the fake results. The dynamics have changed, and they cannot get close and get away with such primitive antics, as it has expired. The truth is that Dr Alex Otti, OFR has grown in capacity and is poised not only to adequately protect the votes, the result sheets, as well as the security of our supporters and Abians. That is an assurance. It shall be well and Abia ga Di Nma.
