Be A Role Model To Youths – Abia Deputy Gov. Tasks Most Beautiful Queen In The State

The Abia State Deputy Governor, Engineer Ikechukwu Emetu has urged Queen Maryjane, the winner of the 2022 Most Beautiful Queen in Abia State to be a role model to the youths by instilling good morals and values as well as advising them to shun every form of criminality.

Emetu while receiving in audience the beauty queen and organizers of the pageantry, led by the founder and organizer, Ambassador Godwin ifeanyi ferdinald at Government House, Umuahia,  assured that the present administration recognizing the great potential and gain inherent in the tourism industry, will harness every avenue to activate the moribund tourist sites across the State.

The Deputy Governor congratulated the 2022 Most Beautiful Queen in Abia for emerging victorious during the beauty pageant as well as the organizers for all their efforts in projecting the tourism industry through such beauty pageant.

While describing the tourism sector as a veritable avenue for revenue generation and image laundering for the State, Emetu also wished Queen Iheukwumere well in her future endeavours.

In her remarks, Iheukwumere who beat 34 other contestants to emerge winner at the contest, disclosed her vision to empower the girl child through her pet project, and appealed for support.
