The Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), has urged Nigerians to take advantage of the Federal Government’s approval for the extension of the Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) and National Identification Number (NIN) linkage.

The Nigerian Communications Commission is the independent regulatory authority for the telecommunications industry in Nigeria.

The Commission said; “The Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC) wishes to encourage telecoms subscribers across the country to take advantage of Federal Government’s extension to link SIM to NIN before the stipulated deadline“.

“As focus shifts to remote and hard to reach areas, schools and health centres, hurry now and link your NIN with your SIM”

Recall that the Federal Government of Nigeria approved the extension of NIN-SIM linkage to October 31, 2021.
