I Have Instructed My Team To Investigate If We Have Investment In Geometric – Gov. Otti
The Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, has revealed that he has setup a team to investigate if the State has any investment in Geometric Power.
The governor who stated this during a Channels Television interview, made it clear that he will be glad if the state has 5% in a big project like the Aba Integrated Power Project which is worth about $800M.
“To the best of our knowledge, we dont have any evidence that Abia State does have investment in the Geometric Power Plant, but it will be nice to discover that the state does have investment”.
“But i have engaged with the management team of Geometric, who informed me that their was an offer of 5% equity to Abia State Government, but that Abia State Government did not finish paying up. So, i have set up a team to meet with Geometric so that we can dig into the facts” he stated.
