BREAKING: Bauchi Governor’s Seat Secured As Supreme Court Upholds Election Victory

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state, has secured a 4-year tenure as the Supreme court on Friday upheld his election victory.

The Supreme court in a unanimous judgement read by Justice Ibrahim Saulawa, dismissed the appeal filed by the governorship candidate of the APC, Sadique Abubakar for lacking in merit.

Abubakar had among others, alleged massive non-compliance with the Electoral Act.

The apex court resolved all six issues against the appellant and held that the appeal was devoid of merit.
