Real Madrid’s midfielder, Toni Kross, has spoken about the forthcoming thrilling Champions League quarter-final clash between his side and Chelsea.
Star studded LaLiga heavyweight, Real Madrid will battle Premier League side, Chelsea in the quarters showdown billed for April.
The German International has honestly affirmed the clash would indeed be a challenging one, adding no team in the Champions League, including his side wanted to play Chelsea in the last eight.
Regardless of Chelsea’s tussle with the crisis rocking its ownership, the 32-year-old believes the Blues are the toughest team to face in the campaign.
The former Bayern Munich player said;
”They [Chelsea] are the current Champions League champions, so it couldn’t be more difficult. There could hardly be a bigger hurdle, but we have to concentrate on ourselves, and if we play well, it is possible to do a lot of things.
We have to try to be very good because that is what we will have to do to reach the semi-finals. Probably nobody wanted PSG in the last 16, and probably nobody wanted Chelsea in the quarter-finals, but that is the way things are, and we have to accept them.”
