A 12-year-old house help has jumped from a storey building to escape her boss in Ifite Awka, Anambra State.

According to a facebook user, Ify Unachukwu, the house help was running away from her boss who allegedly attempted to r-ape her on Thursday.

“A 12-year-old house help jumped down the window of a storey building to escape rape by her ‘Oga’.

“She sustained fracture on her leg bone (tibia). Now, she has been moved from Climax Specialist Hospital, Awka, to the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku. She is presently in a critical condition, after escaping” she wrote.

Meanwhile, the Anambra State Police Command has arrested the suspect who allegedly tried to r-ape the teenager.

“The suspect is in our custody and investigation has begun” the state police spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed.
