Mosignor Ralph Madu was the immediate past secretary general of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Abuja , and a priest from Owerri Archdiocese.

He was born on September 28, 1955 in Lagos.

He was a PhD holder from the Catholic University of Louvain Belgium, and also bagged a M.Ed (Admin and supervision) from the Fordham University, New York.

Monsignor Ralph, was ordained a priest of the Catholic church on July 9, 1983, for the Archdiocese of Owerri.

Msgnr Ralph had a renowned academic history, pastoral and administrative experiences within and outside nigeria.
He could speak English, Igbo, German and French languages.

Up until his death, he was known as a distinguished scholar and priest of immesurable value.

Late Ralph Madu died at age 68 after a brief illness.

He hails from Nunya in Isuikwuato Local government area of Abia State.
