The Accord Party gubernatorial candidate for Abia State, Barrister Emeka Uwakalom has revealed that godfatherism and lack of Godly leadership are some of the major challenge the state is faced with. He insisted that if this trend is not changed, nothing good will happen in Abia State.

Barrister Uwakalom revealed during a press conference yesterday that Abia State is under a bondage and until a deliberate effort is made in liberating the state from the evil bondage, development and great aspiration desire of the people may not be achieved.

He insisted that if he is elected governor of Abia State, one of his agenda will be to handover the state to God and make sure his government is transparent, accountable and open to the public scrutiny at all time.

He went further to emphasis the need to uproot godfatherism syndrome from Abia State politics and make sure that government is accountable to Abians and Abians alone.

The accord party guber candidate who is also an associate pastor in Living Faith Church World Wide, also revealed other agendas he has for Abians if elected governor.

He called on Abians to rally around him and support his governorship aspiration because he is sincere and will continue to be truthful to the people.
