The election fever seems to be to going down in Abia State, but other controversies are stringing up here and there in the state. Just today, one Elder Chief Erondu Azubuike.JP GDJ has warned former Accountant General of Abia State, Chief Gabriel Onyendilefu to quell his present desire and aspiration of becoming the next commissioner of finance.

It should be stated that the former AG contested for the PDP House of Representative ticket for Isialangwa North/South, but was defeated by the incumbent, Honorable Darlington Nwokocha who also went ahead to win the general election.

Based on what was published by Elder Erondu on his social media handle. he advised Onyendilefu to quell his desire because the state is not ready to further torment its citizens with night mares by allowing the likes of Onyendilefu to occupy offices as strategic as the ministry of finance.

OPEN LETTER TO CHIEF GABERIEL ONYENDILEFU

My dear brother,

How market???

How’s life as a retiree?

Sorry it took me this long to write you again since after the primary elections.

Recall that in one of my letters to you I made some assertions, regarding the primary elections and its outcome, but it was very hard for you to believe.

Be that as it may, the elections have come and gone and God who gives power has placed everyone where he or she deserves.

I also recall telling you In one of my letters to you, about the fruits of ones labour, which was a good reason of reflection for us all.

Indeed as I write these opens letters I sincerely want you and others concerned to know that there are no hard feelings of any sort, rather I only want people occupying public offices to see it as God given gifts to affect other lives, instead of seeing it as an avenue to witch hunt or lord over others.

Moving Forward, presupposing you do not know, people are yet to recover from the shock and effect of your awful reign as the accountant general of the state, and I will advise you quell the present desire and aspiration of becoming the next commissioner of finance, as the state is not ready to further torment its citizens with night mares by allowing your likes occupy offices as strategic as the ministry of finance.

If and only if, you still remember, when people retire from active service hale and hearty, good conscience demands that they give way for the younger generation to grow, and if need be that they are still needed by the younger ones, they are only expected to play advisory roles and not to front for jobs that are due their sons and daughters.

Whilst expecting that you accept my letter in good faith, i invoke the Lords blessing of Good health upon you and your family, and pray that He blesses you with the spirit of contentment as you heed to my recommendation of playing the role of a father rather than that of a son.

Warm Regards.

Elder Chief Erondu Azubuike.JP GDJ
