NUC Executive Secretary, Abubakar Abdulrasheed Resigns | READ WHY
Professor Abubakar Abdulrasheed, the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), has announced his resignation from the Commission.
Abdulrasheed announced his resignation on Monday, June 26, at NUC’s headquarters while approving the issuance of a provisional license to Kogi State University, Kabba, Kogi State.
He described the new university as his last baby in the Commission, having granted approvals to numerous universities in the country during his seven-year administration.
Explaining why he was resigning, Abdulrasheed said he will be returning to the Bayero University Kano to continue his job as a lecturer.
