The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested a suspected internet fraudster, one Michael Jackson in Lagos state.
Jackson was arrested on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 by Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Command of the anti-graft agency.
According to the Commission, the suspect was arrested based on credible intelligence it received on the illegal activities of some individuals allegedly involved in computer-related fraud.
The EFCC said Jackson poses as Ella, a transgender woman, to allegedly defraud unsuspecting victims of millions of Naira.
Jackson who also claimed to be a Disc Jockey (DJ), had in his possession fetish items, which he claimed was “for grace and success”.
