How Boko Haram Attacked, Killed Seven Soldiers In Borno Military Base | DETAILS

Dreaded Jihadist terrorist group, Boko Haram has reportedly killed no fewer than seven men of the Nigeria Army in an ambush in Borno State.

Reports reaching US at this time confirmed that the gallant soldiers attached to the 153 Task Force Battalion in Marte Local Government Council of the state, were ambush by the terrorist on the early hours of Monday, February 15.

Reports had it that the deadly group had attacked the soldiers on the location between January 10 and 15. Efforts by the soldiers to fight and defend their base against the insurgents, however, proof abortive as the Boko Haram men overwhelmed them with superior firepower.

A source from the military who pleaded anonymous told newsmen that Monday’s attack on Marte LGA by the dreaded Boko Haram group makes it the third onslaught in the area in a month.

The total number of casualties during the attacks is yet to be ascertained. However, the unit, which was totally dislodged, has now been moved to Dikwa, another local government area, a development that has now opened up Marte to further attacks.

To this end, the army authorities have allegedly issued advisories to troops in Sector 3 (especially those in Baga, Cross Kauwa, Kekeno and Monguno and the areas surrounding Marte) to be on red alert.

Meanwhile, Southeast chapter of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, has begged Nigerians to sheath their swords and allow them to operate their businesses without threat.

The Fulani group cautioned Nigerians against statements capable of inciting war in the country.
