About eight foreign universities has been blacklisted by the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC.
The foreign universities mostly in the Republic of Benin, and Niger are restricted from participating in the 2021 Batch A orientation course.
According to an unofficial report, Most of the banned universities are alleged to be awarding degrees to students few months after matriculation.
Although the NYSC management has not made an official declaration to confirm the allegation, the scheme in a circular dated Friday, March 5, 2021 to state/FCT coordinators, all D&R and foreign-trained verification officers in states were alerted to take note of these schools;

8. International University, Bamenda (Cameroon).
