Apumiri Ubakala Police Station in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State has come under attack by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Monday 17th May 2021.

Based on the information made available to AF NEWS, the attack took place between 1-2am on Monday 17th May 2021.

At the moment no information of casualties.

Attacks on police station and INEC offices in and around Abia State has been on the increase recently. Few days ago, Bende Police Station was also attacked and razed down. Before Bende Police Station, Uzuakoli Police Station and Ubani Market Police Station was also attacked.

The attack on Apumiri Ubakala Police Station maybe the fifth of such attacks in Abia State.
