A man by name Chidiebere Christopher Nwoke who hails from Umueke Ekerifeze Umuajata Olokoro in umuahia south local government area was killed by snake bite on Thursday 5th February 2020 in Umuahia capital city of Abia State.
Based on the information published by Felix Ubani on social media, Mr Chidiebere went to the farm with his younger brother to clear a portion of land, during the process he accidentally inflicted a machete cut on a dangerous Viper snake known as “AJUALA”.
His efforts to gather the cleared bush with his hands, the snake bite him on his left hand which resulted the swelling of the hand.
However, he was rushed to an anti poison native doctor who gave him some herbal drugs which was effective at the moment, and later died in the evening.
