It was a moment of fanfare and joyful mood, as sons and daughters of Arochukwu Kingdom, came back from all walks of life to grace this year’s Ikeji Arochukwu festival.
Activities marking Ikeji Arochukwu festival as always, start with a lot of daily events which usually culminate into the grant finale, which is the Eke Ekpe Aro festival.
This year’s event recorded huge success, kudos to the organizers of this special event.
The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, who is a son of the soil, graced the occasion as one of the special guests of honor.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Ukoha, thanked everyone for finding time to travel from their various locations to attend this year’s Ikeji festival.
He described Arochukwu culture as rich and worthy of emulation, stressing that Aro culture remains the best.
In an interview with news men, the Lawmaker expressed willingness to partner with the Abia State Ministry of Culture/Tourism to see ways Aro culture can further improve in this modern era.
He prayed God to continue to bless Arochukwu sons and daughters wherever they are, while full of optimism that next year’s Ikeji Aro festival will be greater.
