Aba Protest: “Spend your energy solving the problem of Aba, not protest” – Sen. Orji Kalu |WATCH VIDEO

The senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu have advised those who protested in Aba few days ago to spend their energy in solving the problems of Aba and not wasting it protesting needlessly.

 

The senator stated this while interacting with journalist after the first leg of his constituency project inspection tour which covered Item and Nkporo communities yesterday.

 

He revealed that Abia State has a senator that have been in the senate for the past 16 years with no evidence of impact on their district, but that he has attracted over 20 roads, schools, water projects scattered all over Abia North.

“I will go from here (Abia North) and put a road in Ariaria Market in Aba just to prove a point” he said.

 

On the protest, he had this to say;

 

“I was in aba for some days, you journalist saw that … I walked on the roads.

“they can not do that when i am there. If i ask Aba people to react it will be very difficult.. but i will never do that, i am a lover of peace”.

“I want them to spend their energy in the solving the problems of Aba and not spending their energy protesting”

“What are you protesting for..

“You brought thugs and rigged the election, we accepted and congratulated you, … but we have learnt our lessons”.

“Will that happen again, no” he concluded.

Meanwhile, 3 road projects, One school project, two water project attracted by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in Item and Nkporo communities were inspected yesterday. The projects are in different stage of completion.
