A former governor of Oyo State, Christopher Alao-Akala, has been confirmed dead.
Alao-Akala, a native of Ogbomosho died at the age of 71, however the cause of his death is yet to be made public.
Confirming the report to PUNCH, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Dr. Olatunde Abdluazeez, said; “The news of his death is out. He did his best for the state. May his soul rest in peace.”
