Human Rights Activist, Reno Omokri, has frowned at a statement credited to a 2023 presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
AFNEWS had reported that Tinubu during a consultation with traditional rulers in Akure stated that he will hand over power to a smart politician after ruling Nigeria for 8 years. READ HERE
Omokri, aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan did not take Tinubu’s statement lightly as he queries if the aspirant is God to elect and re-elect himself.
The Activist wrote on his social media handle;
Tinubu said “When I rule for eight years, I will hand over to the smartest and someone with most followers will take over from me after I finish my tenure.”
