Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyamg has been signed into Barcelona until June 2025 as a free agent.
On Wednesday, the 2nd of January 2022, the Spanish outfit took to their handle on the microblogging platform, Twitter to announce the arrival of the striker.
The 32- year- old made his La-Liga debut on Tuesday after he terminated his contract with his former club, Arsenal. The Gabonese made the move outside the January transfer window which ended on Monday as a free agent.
The Gabon captain who now takes the number “25” is believed to have taken a sizeable cut on his Arsenal wage, which started at around 300,000 euros ($337,000) a week.
Meanwhile, Barca continues to be impeded by the weight of enormous debts, which have amounted to more than a billion euros.
