Abia State made history on December 17, 2024, with the groundbreaking ceremony for the much-anticipated Abia Airport project in Nsulu, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area. This ambitious initiative, spearheaded by Governor Alex Otti, in collaboration with the federal government, promises to be a transformative asset for the state and the South East region.
The Abia Airport is envisioned as a hub for commerce and economic growth, addressing the state’s long-standing need for improved trade and infrastructure.
