ISIALANGWA NORTH/SOUTH 2019: YOU CANNOT TALK ABOUT EQUITY WHEN YOU DONT PAY SALARIES – BISHOP NWANKPA
During an AFN interview with the APGA candidate for Isialangwa North and South Federal constituency, Amb.Bishop Chukwuemeka Nwankpa, he opined that one who has not done well as an incumbent, doesn’t pay salaries and pensions, should not ever talk about equity.
The frontline House of Representative Candidate also explained that Isialangwa North /South is one, there’s no disparity, it is only the government that has made it North and South. Isialangwa is Isialangwa.
He posited that his passion to go the national assembly is to continue with his philanthropic work for the people. “I have provided water for my people, supported their agricultural ventures, sponsored so many people to school as an individual, so my desire to go to the national assembly is to expand what i am doing and reach more people”
“The people that have been going only care about themselves, they are not supporting the people, they are not speaking for the people, they are selfish and i must change this trend and make the people smile” he said.
On the issue of equity, he stated it clear that it is wrong for anyone to talk about equity when they have not proven themselves with the opportunity given to them to govern.
“What is equity when the people are hungry, when you have not paid salary” he asked.
“Once you are there and you are not doing well, another person will take over to do well” he concluded.
