Abia State Government have set up a full investigative committee to look into the operations of Inner Galaxy Group with a view to ensuring compliance with relevant local and international laws.

Based on a press release made available to AFNEWS and signed by Abia State Commissioner for Information Chief John Okiyi kalu, the government decided to set up an investigative committee after reviewing the report of a fact finding team that was sent to the Chinese company today.

The committee which has two weeks to submit its report to the Governor has the following members:

1. Chief Uwaoma Olewengwa – (Chairman)
2. Barr Sam Hart (Secretary)
3. Hon Godwin Adiele
4. Chinenye Nwaogu
5. TC Chairman, Ukwa West
6. Emmanuel Alozie (BIR)
7. Chief Stanley Eche
8. Comrade Nelson Nnanna Nwafor
9. Venerable F E Iwela

The committee will be inaugurated at 11am on Friday, August 14, 2020, by the Deputy Governor, Rt Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu.
