GOVERNMENT OF ABIA STATE, NIGERIA

COMMITTEE ON INVESTIGATION OF ACTIVITIES OF INNER GALAXY STEEL COMPANY

The Abia State Government, in its bid to get to the root of complaints of unfair practices, levelled against Inner Galaxy Steel Company, Ukwa, Abia State, set up a Committee of Enquiry to investigate activities at the company and make appropriate recommendations to Government.

In furtherance to its mandate, the Committee will be holding a Public Hearing to take presentations and submissions from members of the public and interested individuals and organisations with verifiable information on goings on at the Company that are contrary to acceptable practices.

The details of the Public Hearing are as follows:

Date: Tuesday, August 25, 2020

Venue: Aguiyi Ironsi Conference Centre, Fibbarrs Road, Umuahia

Time: 12 Noon Prompt.

Those wishing to make presentations can either do so orally or by submitting documents to the Committee.

COVID-19 Protocols will be adopted at the venue.
