The speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has appreciated party delegates over his victory at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Primary Election for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency.

The primary which held on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at the Umuahia Township Stadium, saw Orji polling a total vote of 86 out of the 99 delegates.

Giving his appreciation, Chinedum Orji in a statement signed by himself, noted the genuine support and solidarity of the delegates, assuring that he will render quality representation to the constituents if elected.

The aspirant wrote;

“I appreciate your very genuine support and solidarity.

I bear no grudges against anyone and I hope no one bears any against me in the course of this.

The paramount interest now should be how to move our fed constituency and this state in particular forward.

Those enjoying today should not antagonize those not favoured but rather carry everyone along to avoid needles political fights.

God Almighty, Friendship and personal relationships
made it possible for me.

I will maintain and service my old dependable friends.
I will seek new genuine friends. I will try as much as possible to keep away sycophants.
It’s not my fault that I chose to be a useful person irrespective of privileges I have. I am not perfect but I know I try.
