2023: Bills I Will Sponsor If Elected – Obinna Nwosu, ADC Candidate For Ikwuano/Umuahia Fed. Const. Reveals
Mr. Obinna Nwosu, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, has revealed some of the bills he would sponsor on the floor of the National Assembly, if elected come 2023.
Nwosu while interacting with Progressive Abia Youths (P.A.Y) led by their president, Mr Kingsley Ekejiuba in Umuahia on Monday, October 24, 2022, gave some of his proposed bills as;
– ‘Pay teachers first policy’ – which will ensure that the teachers will be paid first before any line of government including governors and commissioners.
“Education is the bedrock of nation building. We need to have leaders who recognizes this. I am going to push a bill that will ensure that the educational sector comes first because one thing is for certain; a well motivated teacher is in the position o give the best to the students” he said.
– ‘Youths inclusion bill’ – “the youths are the engine house of any functional society; when you build the youths, you build the nation. I want to prioritize things that will put us on the right track, giving the youths a strong form of belonging in governance.”
He assured that he will be a pro active lawmaker, lobbying for the betterment of the people.
