ABSHA: I Won’t Rest Until Major Projects Are Brought To Isuikwuato – Lucky Johnson Pledges

The Member Representing Isuikwuato State Constituency, in the 8th Abia State House of Assembly, High Chief Lucky Udoka Nweke-Johnson, has assured his constituents that he will not jeopardise the mandate they gave to him, rather he will be accountable and also ensure that he attracts major projects into Isuikwuato Local Government Area.

Johnson in his appreciation message to the people after his formal inauguration into the Assembly, promised that he will be the voice speaking for his people and drawing attention of their needs to the Abia state government.

He stated that he did not join politics for his personal interest, rather to redefine representation and also assist the people beyond personal capacity.

Honourable Johnson assured that his office would always be open to the public and would also serve as a channel to communicate directly with his constituents.

“My constituency office will be equipped with modern communication gadgets capable of
receiving and transmitting information in real time. The office will be alive to its duties as an open channel for daily conversation with my constituents on matters of individual or collective importance. I will read your mail, I will answer your calls, I will reply your sms within available opportunity to do so” the lawmaker stated.

I WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE TO YOU, IN RETURN FOR THE CONFIDENCE REPOSED IN ME.

Once again, I wish to express my sincere gratitude to my people of Isuikwuato Local Government for the mandate freely given to me to represent you at the Abia State House of Assembly. I have transitioned from member-elect to full member of the House.

My appreciation is endless, which I will most definitely express not just in words and speeches but in deeds. I have volunteered to be the voice that will speak for my people drawing attention of their needs to state government. I shall work relentlessly in that regard.

I am prepared to bring that elusive radical change of how proper representation ought to be. In this journey, it shall be “we” and not “I”. My doors shall be open to you all. My ears shall be open to listen to you and my shoulder will be ready to bear your problems to the best of my ability.

I didn’t venture into politics for personal aggrandisement, rather I joined public service to render more and extensive assistance to my people beyond what my personal endeavours over the years through my outreach to touch lives of the poor, needy, sick, students, and old people. If I have done good as a private individual, with government support, it will be better.

My legislative agenda will be centred on giving back to the good people of Isuikwuato LGA and also keeping faith with my campaign promises. I will sponsor bills and move Motions that are of particular interest and benefit to ndi Isuikwuato LGA and Abia State in general.

I am representing the entire good people of Isuikwuato LGA, politics is over, now is the time to work for the people. In my duties to you, I am going to be blind to political party but will see everyone as stakeholders in the Isuikwuato LGA project.

By grace of God and your massive goodwill, I was successfully inaugurated into the 8th, Abia State House of Assembly, on the 13th, June, 2023. Be assured that our share shall get to us as ndi Isuikwuato LGA. Our voices shall be heard, our concerns shall be taken to the doorstep of where it will be solved. I will never rest till our roads are attended to by the Executive. I will not rest till major projects are brought to our Local Government. I will not rest till our collective good as a people is better.

Finally, I beg you all to be patient and support me through your prayers. Thank you all.
