Prof. Greg Ibe Congratulates Ikwechegh, Charges Him To Sustain The Legacy Of Osy Prestige

The Abia state candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the 2023 governorship election, Prof. Gregory Ibe, has congratulated Chief Alex Ikwechegh( Onyeocha N’ Aba) on his recent court of appeal victory affirming his election as the member representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency.

Ibe in a congratulatory message commended the sheer determination, tenacity of purpose and doggedness which characterized the political engagements of Chief Ikwechegh from the party primaries stage through the polling phase and down to the litigation processes.

While commending Chief Ikwechegh for his steadfastness in fighting to enforce his electoral mandate, Prof. Ibe enjoined the incoming law maker to work to sustain and surpass the legislative legacies of late Hon Ossy Prestige, whose representation of the good people of Aba North and South in the National Assembly remain legendary.

The court of Appeal sitting in Lagos had on Thursday declared Chief Alex Ikwechegh of APGA winner of Aba North and South Federal Constituency thereby reaffirming the earlier judgement of the National Assembly Tribunal which disqualified Emeka Nnamani of Labour Party over certificate forgery.
