Suspected bandits have attacked Tsayau community in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing at least four persons while abducting scores.

According to report, the gun wielding men stormed the community on Monday, August 16, shooting sporadically, and abducted a yet to be known number of community members.

The member representing Jibia at the State House of Assembly, Mustapha Yusuf confirmed the attack to journalists in Katsina.

He revealed that many other residents were also injured during the attack.

Meanwhile, the state police command is yet to make an official statement on the recent attack.
